Well I'm stymied by this. I am constantly having to repair my installation of Microsoft Outlook 2003. I can repair it one day and use it fine. I can even reboot that day without having to repair. However when I boot it up the next day, I am often faced with Outlook not working. It won't even launch in it's own "Safe Mode". So again, I have to repair it. Sometimes, even repairing won't work and I have to roll back to a previous restore point!
I suspect there's some other program killing one of the dll's or registry entries it...
Strange. I came back from a trip and found my old GeForce4 Ti 4400 graphics card had become flakey. Lots of little boxes all over the monitor, hangs, blue screens, etc. Tried a few things to revive it and swapped components around my machines to make sure it really was the graphics card that was the trouble. I had to pronouce it dead.
I've now replaced it with a Radeon 9800 Pro by Sapphire. Dabs had a lot in stock and it seemed to rate well for the price. I also already had an Arctic Cooler for the Radeon 9x00 series...
I've been using a dining room chair in my home office but I've gotta get rid of it. After a couple of hours of sitting, the blood doesn't seem to get to my legs! So I've been looking of an office chair. Not just any old office chair but something ergonomic that will still be comfortable after hours of sitting at a computer.
As part of my research, I found out that the chair I had sat in for years at Microsoft was a Herman Miller Aeron. Turns out this is chair is iconic and still considered one of the best...
